27 July 2009 - Construction of covered outdoor areas

The College was very pleased to receive National School Pride funding from the Commonwealth Government to construct much-needed covered outdoor areas. These will provide further protected activity areas for the student-apprentices in both tuition and leisure.

Aesthetically-pleasing shade sails will cover an outdoor eating deck adjacent to Café Tech, and other areas within the College. Deck construction is expected to be completed before the beginning of Semester 2.

 

20 August - Covered outdoor completed

Our student-apprentices are now enjoying the improved facilities that have been constructed under the funding associated with the Building the Education Revolution - National School Pride. The shade sails and deck provide both a working and eating environment for the student-apprentices and their utilisation of these facilities indicates that they are very impressed with these latest additions.
