Applications from students wishing to apply for a Student Visa, subject to compliance with minimum requirements and conditions set by the College, and with legislative requirements of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia, including any requirements to undertake extra tuition to learn English to meet the English language proficiency standard needed to enter mainstream classes.
Minimum requirements for entry are:
- Completion of Year 10 studies or equivilant
- Aged between 16 – 19 years of age
- IELTS 5
Applications for enrolment must be made on International Student Application for Enrolment form.
This must be accompanied by the following documents to support the application:
- Certified/notarised copies of Student Report Cards from the previous 2 years of study, including a copy of the latest Student Report or High School graduating certificate;
- A completed Reference Form from the student’s current or most recent College Principal is also required if student Report Cards do not record student behaviour or commitment to studies;
- Appropriate proof of identity and age e.g. passport;
- Written evidence of proficiency in English as a second language
- Application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) (if applicable)
- Application for Course Credit if College grants Course Credit) (if applicable)
Where the above documents are not in English, certified translations in English are required, with necessary costs to be met by the applicant.
Enrolment Procedure
The following procedures are to be followed when making an application for enrolment:
- The application fee AUD $150 (non-refundable) is to accompany the application forms.
- Read the prospectus and associated policies.
- Completed International Application From – signed.
- a) Completed the Homestay application form
OR b) Full details of close blood relative residing in Brisbane with whom you wish your child to live. Please send: name, address, phone number, copy of Passport and proof of relationship.
- Certified/notarised copies of all school results in English for the past 2 years.
Evidence of English Language proficiency (eg IELTS, TOEFL)
Enrolment Process
Stage A: Please submit items 1-5 to ATCNB Enrolment Manager:

Stage B: Your application will be acknowledged promptly via a Provisional Offer and a tax invoice sent to you.
Stage C: Payment of the tax invoice will confirm enrolment.
Stage D: On receipt of payment, a Confirmation of Enrolment will be issued.
Stage E: Present your CoE to your nearest Australian Diplomatic Mission to finalise your Student Visa.
Stage F: Please notify the College with the date and time of your arrival in Brisbane.

Enrolment applications may be lodged at any time for Year 11, however, the best time for lodgement is November prior to the year attending to allow time for the student visa to be processed.
Preference will be given to applications which contain all the requested documentation and from students who meet all the enrolment criteria.
